Cat Kidd & Jack Beets
Cat Kidd & Jack Biswell are a poetry/soundscape collaboration formed in the mid90s when Jack moved to Montreal from Boston, and they appeared frequently in popular cabarets such as YAWP. Their first release was the cassette/chapbook Everything I know about love I learned from taxidermy. Cat and Jack went on to record three more cd/books, Sea Peach, Bipolar Bear, and Hyena Subpoena, touring festivals from Oslo to Edinburgh, New York to Singapore. Currently, Jack lives in the UK while Cat lives out in the townships. They're delighted to be back in Montreal to launch the world premiere of Rock Dove at Suoni 2025.
