Uñas (aka Chris Vargas) is the former vocalist of Montreal’s electronic duo Pelada and a past member of the Noise Not Borders collective. Last year, they brought the heat to the festival with a high-energy DJ set weaving together old school reggaeton, salsa, cumbia, baile funk, and more—setting the tone between bands and closing the night in style. On June 20th at La Sala Rossa, Uñas returns for a special Suoni Per Il Popolo x Noise Not Borders collaboration night, bringing the same rhythm, sweat, and joy as part of Suoni’s 25th anniversary edition.
