Kim Zombik
Kim has evolved from being an interpreter of the standard songbook of Black Classical Music to an original poet and vocalist always willing to be at the front edge of vulnerability. She has collaborated in past projects with Joe McPhee, Tristin Honsinger, Kaie Kellough, Kalmunity Vibe Collective, Super Musique and presently performs with Silvervest, the Ratchet Orchestra and the The Ostara Project. Kim has toured in Europe, USA, and in Japan as Billie Holiday in “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill”.She has shared stages with the Irreversible Entanglements, William Parker, Olu Dara, Cecil McBee. Kim’s poetry has been published in Dark Matter: Women Witnessing; Dreams Before Extinction, published by NatureCulture, spring 2025.
