Un Hombre Solo is the solo project of Fernando Jz, based in New York City. Rooted in darkwave, EBM, punk and industrial, the project explores themes of alienation, identity, and disillusionment, with all lyrics in Spanish.
Since 2018, Un Hombre Solo has developed a stark, emotionally raw sound that blends classic body music rhythms with minimal, melancholic synth work. Each release is crafted with a strong DIY ethos and often paired with distinctive physical design and packaging.
The project has toured across the US, Mexico, South America, and Japan, and is part of the NYC-based Synthicide label. With gripping live sets and a growing international presence, Un Hombre Solo continues to push a personal and emotionally driven vision of dark electronics.
